Rain Day It poured rain the entire day. We huddled in our rooms, worked in the studio, wrote in journals and on computers; Maggie camped out in the theatre drinking tea. We met at 5:00pm for artist talks (which were GREAT!). Some people escaped at 7 for a walk after the rain stopped. Then we ate our weight in pasta. Now you know everything that happened on May 16th, 2026.

(Chiara) Here, while I was walking, I felt a snow memory. There isn't any snow. I can't tell if the memory is mine or if it's the mountain's memory. I feel it in the glacial air, which contains ice particles. I feel it in my overheated body after the climb, in contrast with the cold air, so maybe the memory is all mine, because it brings me back to when I was a child. Together we poured the thick clay across the surface, flattening and evening it out with our hands so it could settle consistently beneath the heat.
